Rudy’s Pizza Sale has opened officially, albeit for local delivery & collection for now until Matteo and the team can welcome you into the pizzeria in the heart of Sale.
The relaxed, neighbourhood pizzeria is on Northenden Road, just a stone’s throw away from the Sale Metrolink stop. Rudy’s follow the traditions and artistry of pizza from Naples – the birthplace of pizza. Expect classic recipes such as Marinara, Margherita and Calabrese as well as rotating weekly specials.
Believing Neapolitan pizza to be the best in the world, Rudy’s dough is made fresh daily using Caputo ‘00’ flour which has been left to ferment for at least 24 hours, alongside the best quality ingredients imported twice a week from Naples, including San Marzano tomatoes grown on fields next to Mount Vesuvius, and Fior di Latte mozzarella.
Rudy’s pizza is cooked in imported Stefano Ferrara ovens, for just 60 seconds, in accordance with Neapolitan pizza tradition, leaving it soft and floppy with a leopard patterned cornicion (crust).
Due to local restrictions, pizzaiolos will be cooking up proper Neapolitan pizza to be enjoyed at home, with delivery available via Deliveroo, alongside collection of freshly cooked or Bake at Home pizza.

Rudy’s ‘Bake at Home’ pizzas follow the demand for people to enjoy the very best Neapolitan pizza from the comfort and safety of their own homes. Hand-made by Rudy’s pizzaiolos using the same fresh ingredients used in the pizzerias, blast chilled and wrapped so that you can enjoy twice-baked at home. The ‘Bake at Home’ range is available for collection from the pizzeria, just pop down.

The original Rudy’s pizzeria opened in Ancoats, Manchester in 2015, as has been named ‘Officially one of the top 10 places to eat pizza in the world!’ – Big Seven. Rudy’s Sale is the sixth member of the Rudy’s famiglia.
