Over the next few months thousands of people will avidly follow the lives of the falcons that live at the top of the Grade I-listed building.

Fantastic footage is live-streamed to a specially designed council webpage, providing iconic images from the nesting area.

Nature lovers from across the world enjoy following the dramatic fortunes of the birds, with webcam views from Australia, Canada and the United States amongst others.

Once again a ‘name the chick’ competition will be held after the youngsters hatch, with an exciting new theme to be announced shortly.

Falcons have nested at the town hall for more than a decade and are regularly seen soaring above the town centre as they hunt for food.
