A Rochdale man has appeared in court charged with multiple sexual offences after police had been investigating child grooming allegations.
Jordan Scarrott aged 21 of Badger Close, Rochdale has been charged with four counts of sexual communication with a child,four counts of sexual grooming of a child and four counts of sexual activity with a child between the age of 13 and 15.
He is also charged with two counts of attempting to meet a child under the age of 16 following grooming and one count of causing or inciting a child aged 13 to 15 to engage in sexual activity
He appeared at Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Court at the weekend and was remanded to next appear at Manchester Crown Court, Crown Square on Friday 3 May 2019.
