A fifty four year old Rochdale man charged with rape has been accused of eight new child sex offences in a police operation targeting non-recent abuse.
Tahir Rashid of Hudsons Walk has been postal charged with eight further offences, including rape and indecent assault with a girl under the age of 16.
He is currently remanded in custody after being charged with 13 offences, including rape and penetrative sexual activity with an girls under the age of 16 in May 2023.
Rashid is due to stand trial for those matters in September 2025.
