Riviera Travel, the UK’s leading river cruise and tour operator, has announced it will operate over 550 flights from Manchester Airport next year. The flights will serve river cruise itineraries including to the Seine, Rhone, Douro, Rhine and Danube, and touring holidays including to France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Norway and Iceland.

In total, 89 cruise and tour itineraries will be directly accessible via Manchester, the largest of any UK and Ireland regional airport.

In addition, for the first time ever, Riviera has today removed regional flight supplements, including from Manchester, on all holidays from next year. This will be a permanent change.

Will Sarson, head of strategy and innovation at Riviera Travel, said: “With ever-increasing numbers of people looking to holiday from next year, we’re excited to be able to offer even more flexibility for our Manchester guests. We offer the widest selection of dates and departure options across the UK and Ireland, meaning guests can enjoy the convenience of flying direct from their local airport, and all at great value.”

Riviera Travel 2023 holidays from Manchester Airport include a four-day escorted tour of Krakow for £579 and a five-day river cruise to Amsterdam, Kinderdijk & the Dutch Bulbfields for £899.
