The Salford Red Devils are just eighty minutes away from a visit to Wembley after they produced one of the performances of the season to overcome Wakefield Trinity and book their place in the semi-finals of the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup.

Tries from Ryan Lannon, Ben Murdoch-Masila, Niall Evalds, Craig Kopczak and Greg Johnson saw the Red Devils claim their place in the last four for the first time in 19 years.

Salford head coach Ian Watson told BBC Radio Manchester: “It was big for us in the way we are as a team. We had two poor performances and losses so it was important to respond on the back of them.
