The Rail Ale Trails has returned to the East Lancashire Railway with an all-new outing for 2024.
Ales On The Rails kicked off this year’s trackside trails from Bury Bolton Street station on Saturday (April 20).
Join an expert tour guide to explore the picturesque Irwell Valley as they delve into the history, heritage and hops for the next event on May 18.
Alongside a delicious lunch in a traditional pub, enthusiasts will be able to savour a pint or two at some of the oldest and most popular pubs along the hop-on, hop-off train route.
Navigate local trails and ascending hills with the new Hike for your Hops excursion. Lovers of the great outdoors, will board the train and then venture deep into the Irwell Valley accompanied by an expert tour guide.
