This December, Chaos Karts is inviting Manchester to help “drive” Christmas all the way to the North Pole with the launch of Race to the North Pole, a month-long festive challenge where every lap completed on the venue’s Santa’s Sky-High Track contributes to a collective 2,530 mile journey from Manchester to the Arctic.

Visitors can take to the wintry circuit, full of frosty corners, festive obstacles and immersive effects, with each lap added daily to the North Pole Tracker. Once the total distance is reached, Chaos Karts will donate £1 for every mile of the journey, totalling £2,530, to UK family charity Gingerbread, giving everyone who races a chance to take part in a meaningful Christmas challenge.

The track will feature in every session throughout December, and guests can follow along with the city’s daily mileage progress on the attraction’s Instagram page @chaos.karts. Special milestones will be celebrated during the month, and whether visitors come once or return to try and beat their previous lap counts, every participant will help drive Manchester closer to the Arctic.
