Manchester Arndale have announced that fashion retailer, Pure Fashion, will be joining the centre after committing to a 3,709 sq. ft store

Manchester Arndale have announced that fashion retailer, Pure Fashion, will be joining the centre after committing to a 3,709 sq. ft store on a five-year lease.

Pure, will be bringing its extensive offering to Manchester Arndale, with styles ranging from knits for winter to lighter summer options. The store will be Pure Fashion’s third UK outlet and will also offer a wide range of other accessories including pashminas, hats and gloves when it opens in August 2022.

The arrival of Pure Fashion coincides with the news that Nandos and House of CB have renewed their leases at Manchester Arndale. Popular restaurant chain Nandos has signed a five-year lease for its 5,037 sq ft unit, while womenswear brand House of CB has extended its lease on its 1,436 sq ft store for a further three-years. Meanwhile, fashion footwear specialist, Office, has also agreed a 5-year lease re-gear for its 3,121 sq ft store. These pieces of leasing news, alongside Pure Fashion’s arrival, demonstrates the continued confidence F&B operators and fashion retailers have in the centre and helps to cement Manchester Arndale as one of the UK’s premium shopping destinations.

Last month Manchester Arndale announced that it had reached 95% retail occupancy following the arrival of dessert chain Creams Cafe. Over the past 12 months the centre has welcomed leading fashion operators such as Debenhams.com, Tommy Hilfiger and Kick Game, as well as fast growing F&B outlets like Slim Chickens, Tim Hortons, Pizza Luxe and Kokoro, whilst adding to its experiential offering through the opening of Urban Playground.

Scott Linard, Portfolio Director at M&G Real Estate, commented: “We are continuing to ensure Manchester Arndale provides a diverse tenant mix to maintain its place as the leading retail destination in North West. We are therefore delighted to be expanding our fashion accessories offering with the arrival of Pure Fashion. We are equally pleased that Nandos, House of CB and Office have committed their futures to the centre by agreeing new leases. Pure Fashion’s arrival, Office’s re-gear and the lease renewals from Nandos and House of CB allows us to consolidate our exciting mix of F&B outlets, leisure operators, and fashion brands. A well-rounded retail experience is becoming increasingly important for shoppers and, with such an extensive offering, it’s no surprise that Manchester Arndale is the go-to place in the North West, and we look forward to sharing further exciting updates on more new arrivals in due course.”

Steve Moore Pure Fashions Retail Director commented: “We are excited to enter the scheme at such an important time for retail we consider this scheme the number one in the city we offer carefully selected product and a high level of service. The centre and landlords’ staff have been fabulous in enabling this.”
