The team will travel to Edgeley Park on an open-top bus, parading the National League North trophy, as the Blue & White Army line the route.

Following a private reception in the Mayor’s Parlour, the bus will leave Stockport Town Hall at 3pm, making its way along Greek Street and Mercian Way before arriving at the ground where the Cheadle End will be opened for the fans to join in the celebrations.

The concourse will be open serving drinks and hot food, and supporters will be able to take drinks into the Cheadle End seats in plastic glasses.

The players, backroom staff and manager Jim Gannon will be introduced onto the pitch, as they raise the trophy once more inside Edgeley Park.

Chairman Richard Park said: “We are very grateful to Stockport Council for inviting us to the Town Hall for a reception, and we are looking forward to meeting the Mayor, Councillor Walter Brett.

“But we were also keen to make sure that the fans could join in the celebrations, so we hope as many of you as possible will line the streets on Sunday afternoon to cheer the players back to Edgeley Park before joining us on our giant team photograph. It promises to be a wonderful occasion, and we are delighted to be able to share the day with the fans who have played a huge part in our success this season.”
