Large sections of Stockport Road (A6) in Levenshulme will be resurfaced throughout August to remove potholes and create a smooth driving surface for drivers.

As one of the busiest road routes into the city, Stockport Road will be closed to motorists in three sections to minimise disruption to road users and local businesses – and will remain open at peak times.

To avoid causing severe delays works are planned to be done during off peak periods including weekends and nights. With the noisiest work scheduled for the weekends rather than at night, as the council are trying to keep disturbance to residents down to a minimum.
