Police in Stockport have released an image of a man they believe may have vital information after a woman was sexually assaulted on a bus.
A 21-year-old woman reported she had been assaulted after catching the 313 Stagecoach bus from Stockport town centre towards Manchester Airport on Friday 18 February 2022.
PC Jim Felton, of GMP’s Stockport district, said: “The woman was sitting at the rear on the lower deck when a man approached her and struck up a conversation before sexually assaulting her.
“We would like to speak to the man in the photo as we believe he may have vital information to assist our investigation.”
