Two firearms were found inside a stolen vehicle after a police chase at the weekend following a large fight in Wigan
Police responding a large fight happening on Wood Street, Newtown, involving around 30 people attended and a silver Citroen C3 proceeded to drive off from the scene at speed.
The vehicle rammed a police car before coming to a stop on Wood Lane in Standish.
The vehicle was seized and found to have been stolen in Wigan earlier that day.
Police say the occupants of the vehicle were en-route to commit a criminal offence as two firearms were located inside.
They fled the scene on foot before officers arrived and are still outstanding. An investigation has been launched to locate the offenders.
