Plans have been submitted for 263 homes as part Adelphi Village, a residential community of more than 800 homes situated to the east of River Irwell
The plans form parcel one of the £2.5bn, 240-acre Crescent Salford masterplan a joint joint venture between The English Citied Fund Homes England, L&G and Muse– the masterplan aims to provide more than 3,000 homes in total.
Designed by Buttress Architects, Old Adelphi features one, two, and three-bedroom apartments and duplexes across two buildings, standing at five and six storeys.
The plans also include a third building, adjacent to Willohaus – 100 Passivhaus apartments being delivered by ECF, which are due to complete in 2026.
As part of Adelphi Village, the Old Adelphi residential community will deliver green spaces, cycle parking to encourage active travel, accessible housing and disabled parking. The homes will be surrounded by trees, planting and outdoor space, increasing biodiversity and providing areas for residents to relax and socialise.
If Old Adelphi receives planning consent, work is due to begin in Spring 2026.
