New details have emerged about the incident that left an 11 year old child in intensive car following an incident at a Greater Manchester tram stop
Travis Ashe was left with life-changing injuries after he was struck by the Metrolink tram at the Crossacres stop earlier this month
An investigation launched by the Rail Accident Investigation Branch has now revealed that he became trapped between the platform and a departing tram and was then dragged along the platform for around 15 to 20 metres, suffering life-changing injuries as a result.
Last week an update on the child’s Go Fund me page said that Travis was still in an induced coma after undergoing five surgeries
