Altrincham FC have today parted company with Manager Phil Parkinson and Assistant Manager Neil Sorvel after a winless run that has seen the Conference Side go eight games without a win
Parkinson has been in charge of the club since April 2017
In a statement the club said that Given recent form and the current league position, it is clear that results have not met expectations. The Board therefore believes a change of direction is necessary at this point in the season.
Chairman Mark Luby said:
“Phil Parkinson and Neil Sorvel leave the club in a much stronger position than when they arrived. They can rightly be proud of everything they have achieved during their tenure. Whilst making this change has been extremely difficult, we felt we were left with very little alternative given our current league position.”
