A woman pedestrian in her 70s, sustained serious, life-threatening injuries and remains in hospital for treatment following an accident in Denton yesterday
She was hit by a vehicle on the Worthington Way junction with Ashton Road around 1.30pm
The driver remained at the scene to assist officers with their enquiries.
No arrests have been made.
GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.
They are also keen to speak to anyone who may have any footage, including dashcam, CCTV, or mobile phone footage from the area in the moments leading up to the collision.
