A young filmmaking group, Brown Muslim Gurlz, from Working Class Film School in Oldham are nominated for an Into Film Award for their documentary, Unveiled Voices.

The Into Film Awards celebrates young people’s creativity in film, and has previously been attended by the likes of Lashana Lynch, Hugh Grant, Naomie Harris, Daniel Craig, Olivia Cooke and Lily James. The red-carpet ceremony takes place on 16 June at ODEON Luxe Leicester Square.
Their film interviews members of the local community and addresses the lack of visibility of young Muslim women from South Asian heritage.
