he Northwest Football Awards (NWFA) has announced the finalists for the 2025 edition, recognising and celebrating the outstanding achievements both on and off the pitch across all levels of the game from across the North West of England from the 2024/25 Season.

The NWFA continues to highlight the exceptional work being carried out by clubs, community organisations, professionals and individuals across the region with the categories spanning from grassroots to the Premier League and WSL1.

Laura Wolfe from the Northwest Football Awards said, “The judging panels have now met and the public has voted, and I can honestly say that the standard of entries this year has blown us away. The passion, dedication, and sheer impact of the work happening right across the football pyramid in our region is nothing short of extraordinary. From grassroots to the professional game, the stories, projects and people behind them are truly inspiring. We’re so proud to shine a spotlight on these achievements and can’t wait to celebrate our incredible finalists at the Northwest Football Awards on 3rd November.”

There are a number of other special awards to be announced on the night, including the Joe Thompson Impact Award, the Fabrice Muamba Award for Outstanding Services to Football Medicine and Performance, Manager of the Season, Women’s Manager of the Season and the Maurice Watkins, CBE Lifetime Contribution Award.

The NWFA will culminate in a prestigious ceremony celebrating excellence across football and the wider football community in the North West. Winners will be revealed during the awards on 3rd November in front of leading names from across the game at the Manchester Deansgate Hotel.
