Stockport County claimed all three points in their National League North short trip to Curzon Ashton, the Hatters coming from behind with two late goals.

Substitute Sam Minihan equaliser cancelling out Niall Cummins’ own headed goal for the hosts, before Michael Clarke claimed  the winner in added time. 

Altrincham and Stalybridge stay in the bottom three after defeats, Alty succumbing to Liam Agnew’s second half winner for Boston and remaining winless in the league this season while Stalybridge let in four at Darlington, Andy Owens had pulled them level in the first half after Darlington had taken an early lead but two goals before half time and fourth with half an hour left saw Darlington home in a second half which saw both sides reduced to ten men.

Salford City dropped out of the playoff places after drawing at home to Brackley, top scorer Mike Phenix equalising in the second half to claim the point while a James Hooper goal with ten minutes left saw FC United come away with a point at Tamworth.

Ashton suffered a second successive home defeat at the hands of Rushall Olympic in the Evo Stik Premier League. Jack Dyche had given the Robins the lead on the quarter hour mark, Joel Kettle equalising for the visitors fifteen minutes later with Alex Reid scoring the winner just before half time.

In the First Division North Trafford hit Goole for six, all six from Aaron Burns, smashing the club’s goal scoring record in the process which was made last season when Chris McDonagh scored five.

However it was a lean day for the rest of our local clubs. Hyde United snatching a point at home to leaders Bamber Bridge with a last minute Andy Dempsey header after they had gifted the visitors two goals in the first fifteen minutes although a Mark Dempsey header on nineteen minutes pulled the home side back in contention.

Droylsden lost at home to the new league leaders Brighouse, two Luke Parkin goals one in each half gave the Yorkshire side the three points.

Radcliffe Borough fell to two first half Joshua Greening goals at Tadcaster, although a superb Frank Van Gils effort reduced the deficit midway through the second half.

Finally Mossley’s topsy turvey season continued crashing 2-0 at home to Ossett Town. Goals from Devonte Morton and Anthony Mackie sealing the win
