A brand new music night is set to launch in Chorlton this week, as The Garden Bar introduces People’s Jukebox – a celebration of vinyl, community and shared musical taste.

Kicking off this Thursday 30 April from 7pm, the night invites music lovers to bring along their own records and take turns playing them on the decks, creating a relaxed, collaborative soundtrack for the evening.

Designed to bring people together through a shared love of music, People’s Jukebox is all about discovery, nostalgia and connection – whether that’s hearing a forgotten classic, introducing others to a new favourite, or simply enjoying great tunes in good company.

Jess Anderson, Manager of The Garden Bar, said: “We wanted to create something really simple but special – a night where people can come together and share the music they love. There’s something different about hearing a record someone has chosen themselves and seeing the reaction in the room. It’s relaxed, it’s social, and it’s all about the joy of music.”

With its laid-back atmosphere and strong local following, The Garden Bar continues to build a diverse programme of events that celebrate music, creativity and community in Chorlton.

People’s Jukebox launches on Thursday 30 April from 7pm. Entry is free.
