A murder investigation has been launched following the deaths of a man and a women in their 30’s in Harpurhey this morning.
Police were called by the North West Ambulance Service to a property on Beech Mount in Harpurhey.
The deaths are currently being treated as unexplained.
Forensic officers and detectives will remain at the scene whilst investigations continue.
Detective Chief Inspector Terry Crompton of GMP’s City of Manchester team said: “We have specially trained officers supporting the families at this very difficult time.
“I would urge anyone with any information that could assist our investigation to please get in touch.”
