A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder in Crumpsall after reports of an unconscious man on Crescent Road, Crumpsall who later died in hospital
Officers are looking to establish the full circumstances of this incident and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
Detective Inspector Chris Chadderton from the City of Manchester Division said: “This is a tragic incident in which a man has sadly lost his life, and our thoughts are firmly with his loved ones.
“We have a team of detectives working to piece together the events leading up to his death and are continuing to explore all available lines of enquiry.
“We urge anyone who may have seen anything to please contact us as this could be vital to our investigation.
“This includes any CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage from the area at the time, or information from anyone who may have seen something suspicious.”
