Mother Hubbard’s Chip Shop is now ready to deliver it’s finest fish and chips to Salford and beyond, having recently opened up it’s new store in Salford Shopping Centre.

The chip shop, which first opened in Bradford in 1972, is a sure fire winner across all the generations, with its traditional fish and chips having been rated 10/10 by the infamous YouTuber Rate My Takeaway.

Known to cause queues round the block, with chip lovers keen to get their hands on the indulgent crispy batter, tasty soft fish that melts in the mouth and golden chunky chips, Mother Hubbard’s certainly lives up to expectations.

Danny Malin, the legend behind Rate My Takeaway which has 389K subscribers, was blown away with Mother Hubbard’s offering.

“Mother Hubbards is bang on value for money. You get beautiful chunky chips like your grandma used to make, a massive piece of white fish with nice crispy batter on the outside and a soft and beautiful inside. The mushy peas are really nice tasting, it’s a lovely tasting curry sauce, and the breadcake is absolutely beautiful, it’s so soft it’s unbelievable! It’s a nice solid 10 from me.”

At Mother Hubbard’s quality comes first as they only use the finest Icelandic haddock and British potatoes to produce the crispiest battered fresh fish & golden chips. Other much-loved classics on the menu include scampi, battered sausage, plenty of pies and old fashioned cans of pop such as Dandelion and Burdock. Any visit to Mother Hubbards is guaranteed to take you on a trip down memory lane by evoking the tastes of your childhood.

Manager, Ibrahim Khan, is delighted to be able to bring Mother Hubbard’s to Salford Shopping Centre and has seen a fantastic response from the locals already.
