The missing couple Constance Marten and Mark Gordon whose burnt out vehicle on the M61 near Farnworth sparked a search that has been going on for nearly two months have been arrested on suspicion of gross negligence manslaughter
Sussex Police apprehended the couple in Brighton on Monday evening but launched an “urgent search” for the baby thought to have been just days old when they disappeared.
Police have confirmed that they had not yet found the baby despite an extensive search using over 200 officers concentrated around an allotment and woodland where the couple were found yesterday evening.
