Merseyway Shopping Centre and Redrock Stockport will be putting on a show this Halloween as Beetlejuice-themed characters head into the town centre for a day of spooky celebrations.

Taking place on Saturday 28th October from 12pm – 3pm, families are invited to come along to Merseyway in their best Halloween attire for a day of tricks and treats. Located outside Specsavers, families will be able to visit a ghostly graveyard in the undercover mall, where they will be able to collect a Beetlejuice-themed trail map and follow clues around the centre to win *trick or treat prizes from the Spin to Win wheel. Scary craft sessions will also be taking place in the centre where children can make a Halloween night light ready to take home, while Beetlejuice characterswill also be on hand for scare-tacular photo opportunities.

Once visitors have collected their trail maps, don’t forget to visit Beetlejuice himself as you make your way around the centre because he will be opening his very own joke shop on Adlington Walk, where children will be encouraged to tell their best jokes to Beetlejuice, who will reward each participant who manages to make him howl with laughter throughout the day.

However, the Day-O won’t be over until 7pm, asRedrock Stockport prepares to host safe trick-or-treating. Taking place from 5pm, families will be asked to stay in their Halloween costumes and come down to the popular entertainment complex for an evening of celebrations, including walkabout acts, live music, and spooky family-friendly games.

Redrock restaurants and bars will also be getting involved with the Halloween fun, with Pizza Express offering free Halloween doughballs to all visitors who download the Pizza Express app.
