Manchester’s festive hotspot is back! Courts Club has announced the return of Winter Assembly for 2025, transforming the city’s iconic sports and social venue into a Bavarian-inspired winter wonderland from Friday 13th November, 7 days a week.
Tucked away in St John’s, Winter Assembly brings all the magic of the season without the hustle and bustle of the city centre markets. Manchester’s urban sports and social hub will transform into a free to enter festive wonderland, complete with seasonal street food, live music, Christmas drinks from the Bavarian beer halle, bookable karaoke chalets, festive movie screenings, weekly Xmas-themed quiz nights and more!
Outside, visitors will find a curated mix of seasonal food and drink vendors offering warming winter treats, and festive-themed drinks for a big old knees up. Crackling fire pits will also be available, where guests can toast marshmallows and soak up the full Aprés-Ski party atmosphere, right in the heart of the city.
This year’s line-up brings together a variety of Christmas street food vendors, from traditional German sausages to indulgent boozy hot chocolates, all set against the backdrop of Christmas trees and firelight.
The Clubhouse will be transformed into a Bavarian beer halle serving a lineup of Alpine cocktails, boozy Snowcones, Hot buttered rum and steins of beer. This festive-themed party lodge will come alive with resident DJs music every Thursday, Friday and Saturday throughout December – bringing classic singalongs, disco and house tunes to keep the celebrations going all evening!
Festive films return to the Courts Club big screen for free every Sunday from 23rd November at 1pm, kicking off with How the Grinch Stole Christmas at and The Holiday – the perfect way to set the scene for cosy dates, family outings and chilled Christmas nights.
Guests can channel their inner Mariah and sleigh all the Christmas classics in the Christmas karaoke huts. Back by popular demand, these private karaoke chalets are kitted out with machines, cosy blankets and a festive feel for the ultimate Christmas singalong.
The Christmas Karaoke huts will be open between 12 – 1Opm, 7 days a week. Each session will cost £30 and will run for 1 hour 20 minutes, with drinks packages available to pre-book, so you don’t have to put the mic down at any point during your session.
