Apple Authorised Reseller, Sync, has partnered with global fintech firm, Klarna, to provide customers with interest free payment solutions on Apple repairs and products, supporting their continued growth within the industry.

Based in the heart of Manchester city centre, Sync provides the ultimate hub for technology and is home to all things Apple.

The exciting new partnership follows a significant investment of more than £500,000 into the retail offering, from GBM Digital Technologies, which has twice been featured in the Tech Track Top 100 Fastest Growing Companies in the UK.

The new offering will provide customers with simple payment options on in-store repairs, a first for Apple Authorised Service Providers. The service can also be used when purchasing Apple products online, via the Sync e-commerce website, on baskets under £1,000.

The interest free payment solutions will help tech lovers buy must-have Apple products as soon as they’re available, and repair products in-store, helping to expand the firm’s customer base and simplify the buying process.

The new payment options include pay later in 30 days – which allows customers an extended period in which to pay for their purchase, within the 30 day time frame. Pay in three instalments – customers can pay in three, interest free equal instalments, spreading the cost and making the purchase more manageable.

Sync will also be introducing another Klarna payment solution in the coming months – slice it, which lets the customer split the cost of a big purchase into monthly payments to suit their budget, with six to 36 month terms.

Chris Costello, director of GBM said: “By partnering with a leading fintech company such as Klarna, we are able to help more people than ever before access the latest and most sophisticated technology on the market, further supporting our aim to increase productivity and spark creativity through innovative tech.”

Founded in 2005, Klarna aims to make paying as simple, safe and smooth as possible for the customer. Working with a range of impressive brands including Topshop, Michael Kors, ASOS and Jessops, Klarna now provides payment solutions for over 60 million consumers across 14 countries.

Sync offers a range of support services, including walk-ins, Mac recycling and out of warranty services and repairs. Their friendly team has an extensive knowledge base to help customers get to grips with their wide range of Apple products.

As well as these in-store support services, they also offer training and mentoring programmes to schools, and help businesses integrate Apple technology to increase productivity.

As an Apple Authorised Reseller, Sync offers a full range of Apple products including iMac, iPod, iPhone and iPad along with the latest accessories.
