This year marks 10 years of both the Manchester International Festival and The Warehouse Project.
To celebrate this milestone, MIF and WHP have commissioned 10×10, two special nights of live music and DJs taking place at Mayfield Depot, home to MIF13’s Massive Attack v Adam Curtis and a major group art show featuring work from Tino Sehgal and Mette Ingvartsen.
The now infamous Warehouse Project has been a revolutionary event for Manchester since it launched in 2006.
Based on a nomadic concept it was born and raised for the first year in the old Boddington Brewery on the outskirts of the Manchester city centre.
For twelve weeks, it was transformed from an abandoned relic of Manchester’s industrial past into the backdrop for the three-month run of parties that became WHP06.
For a further five years, it rooted itself beneath the concrete streets in the belly of Piccadilly’s Store Street, before moving onto the next incarnation of Manchester’s The Warehouse Project, the raw and cavernous Victoria Warehouse.

Friday 17 July will see Four Tet – Live joined by Tyondai Braxton and Koreless.
The following night Saturday 18 July, the legendary Carl Craig & Mike Banks lead proceedings with an array of talent including DJ Koze, Joy Orbison, Kyle Hall, Midland, Maurice Fulton, Jacques Greene, Mr. Ties, Space Dimension Controller with live sets from Octave One, Paranoid London and Dark Sky.
