Manchester-based commercial film production house, Anattic is celebrating a successful year, having seen a 166 per cent growth in clients in 2019. These have included new collaborations with brands such as Ticketmaster, Manchester International Festival and Prevayl, a smart clothing company with aims of becoming the world’s fastest unicorn.

The commercial film production house continues to grow with ambitious plans set for 2020.

To reflect the growth of the business, Anattic appointed a new film director and producer, Matt Page. Matt brings a background in fashion and travel content, and this new addition to Anattic has helped them to diversify their market. To support their expansion even further, Anattic is looking to hire two more directors in early 2020.

2019 also marked the second year for Anattic’s collaboration with Manchester College and charity “The Challenge” which focuses on building an integrated society. Together, Anattic gives young people the opportunity to study film through placement programmes. Past students have gone on to the London Film School with distinction.

Anattic’s highlights of the year have included filming the collaboration between F1 driver Daniel Ricciardo and further work with client STANCE. The film was produced in a quick turnaround time, something Anattic thrives the challenge of, but also received praise from Ricciardo himself.

James Copson, Director of Anattic said: “Our aim at Anattic is to make great commercials that are artistic, powerful and memorable. We plan to sign new talented directors so that we can build on our collaborative work and continue making bold films.”

“By challenging ourselves, we have successfully delivered on more complex briefs like shooting the behind the scenes of Skepta’s immersive show Dystopia987 for Manchester International Festival, all done with design studio The Experience Machine who designed the lighting and technical side of the project.

“Our 2020 focus will be on progressing in the Music, Sport, and Outdoors industries predominantly. However, we also plan to go back to our roots with work on charitable documentaries that are close to our team’s hearts, such as Cyclists Fighting Cancer. This, in combination with a documentary series currently in pre-production, we’re looking at a busy year of growth with plans to double current figures.”

Anattic is a Manchester-based commercial film production house creating brand films, commercials, long-form ads and promos.
