A 33year old man has been charged with three counts of rape following a number of incidents reported around the Mancunian Way area
Stuart Thomson of Buxton Road, Stockport has been charged with three counts of rape, one count of assault and four counts of threats with a bladed article and will appear before Stockport Magistrates Court today (7 February 2024).
Police were initially called to a report of a rape on Mancunian Way in the early hours of Wednesday 31st January
Greater Manchester Police were contacted throughout the day about three further incidents that happened in the same area around the same time.
The victims are currently receiving specialist care and support.
