A man has died after the white Audi he was driving collided with a tree causing the vehicle to catch fire in the early hours of this morning in Hazel Grove.
No arrests have been made.The accident happened around 2.20am
Sergeant Matthew Picton, of GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “This was a serious collision which has left a man in a critical condition in hospital – our thoughts are with him as he receives treatment.
“An investigation is underway and I would ask anyone with information to contact us.”
