An elderly man injured crossing the road in Oldham earlier this week has died in hospital
The man in his 80’s suffered hip and pelvis injuries, after being by a car while crossing Sheepfoot Lane at around 8:10am on Monday using his walking frame but died in hospital yesterday.
The driver of a Hyundai i10 car remained at scene and assisted officers with enquiries. No arrests have been made.
GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.
They are also keen to speak to anyone who may have any footage, including dashcam and mobile phone footage from the area in the moments leading up to the collision.
