A man in his 50s who was found with serious injuries at a property on Glebe Street in Offerton last weekend has died in hospital
Joseph McGowan aged 19 of Glebe Street has been charged with attempt murder.
Detective Chief Inspector Simon Moyles, of GMP’s Stockport district, said: “Our thoughts remain with the family of the man who has sadly died. Specially trained officers continue to liaise with them and ensure they are fully updated.
“The investigation team is following a number of lines of enquiry to understand the circumstances surrounding the death. As such, officers remain in the area to conduct house-to-house.”
“Plain clothed and uniformed officers will be present in and around the Glebe Street area. Anyone who has concerns or questions is encouraged to speak to them.”
