A man has been charged with manslaughter following the death of a 26-year-old man in New bury, Farnworth on Monday morning
Shaun Ward,22 of no fixed abode has been charged with manslaughter and will appear at Bolton Magistrates Court today.
The 26 year old pedestrian was seriously injured after being hit by a dark grey VW Golf car and was pronounced dead at the scene on Tennyson Road.
A 24-year-old woman who was arrested on suspicion of murder has been bailed pending further enquiries.
