Seven defeats on the trot and the club rooted to the bottom of League One have seen Bury FC part company with Manager Chris Lucketti and his Assistant Joe Parkinson.

In a statement released this morning the club say that following a run of very disappointing performances and results, the Board have decided to terminate the contracts of Manager Chris Lucketti and Assistant Manager Joe Parkinson with immediate effect.

“The desire to keep the Club in League One is paramount and with 57 points still to play for the Board feel that this is still achievable.”

Club hero Lucketti was appointed back in November, the club’s latest defeat 3-0 at Plymouth Argyle on Saturday left the team bottom of League One and twelve points adrift of safety

Ryan Lowe and Ryan Kidd will take charge of the First Team until the end of the season.
