A boy has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving and other offences following the death of a 14-year-old boy last year in Wythenshawe
Jacob Calland died in hospital eight days following a collision between an e-scooter and a car in March 2025 on Southmoor Road
The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons and is also aged 14, has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving, causing death by driving unlicensed, and causing death by driving uninsured.
He has been released on bail to next appear at Manchester Youth Court on 24 February 2026.
