It’s certainly Christmas weather and now Bespoke Italian wine café Veeno has become the first venue in Manchester to celebrate the snow by offering guests a taste of Christmas this March.

Veeno’s infamous and homemade mulled wine will return to their menu today until Sunday 4th March.

Veeno’s mulled wine is handmade at their Manchester venue on Brazennose St using: wines from their family vineyard, a recipe handed down through the generations, fresh orange, cinnamon and some secret ingredients.

Veeno co-founder Nino Caruso said, “We’re delighted to be bringing the taste of Christmas
back to Manchester this March. Veeno Italian Wine Cafés are all about bringing people
together to relax – and because the weather outside really is frightful, we believed the
comforting taste of mulled wine will be the winter warmer that Manchester deserves. We’re
all in this together, right?

“Me and Andrea founded Veeno the Italian Wine Café to offer Manchester something unique
– so offering mulled wine in March is part of our ideology. And with mulled wine tasting this
good, why should we save it to Christmas?

Veeno was founded in Manchester in 2013 by Andrea Zecchino and Nino Caruso. Veeno
now has 18 branches in locations including London, Reading, Bristol and Edinburgh, the
brand takes inspiration from Caruso and Minini, a winery in Sicily where Antonio Caruso,
great-grandfather to Veeno’s co-founder Nino Caruso, started cultivating grapes in 1800.

As well as its exclusive wine offering, which includes wine tasting experiences, Veeno is the
only outlet in Manchester to champion an ‘Aperitivo’ culture – an after-work culture of
drinking, eating Italian-style appetisers and relaxing with colleagues, friends and family.
