Hope Mill Theatre today announces a very special ‘An Evening With’ Coronation Street icon Helen Worth, hosted by fellow Weatherfield legend Julie Hesmondhalgh.

The one-off event, on Sunday 29th March at 6pm, will raise funds for Hope Mill Theatre and its community outreach programmes.

Tickets are on sale to Hope Mill Theatre members now, and go on General Sale at 10am on Monday 9th February.

Join Coronation St star Helen Worth as she sits down in her first live in conversation with, chatting about her incredible 50 year legacy playing Gail Platt.

Hosted by another Coronation St legend Julie Hesmondhalgh, this is an evening not to be missed.

Said Helen Worth: “I’m really looking forward to coming back to Manchester for a good old chat with Julie, especially as it’s in support of Hope Mill Theatre.”

Joseph Houston, Artistic Director of Hope Mill said: “We are thrilled and honoured to have the legendary Helen Worth in her first ever live in-person conversation about her incredible career. There is no denying the cultural impact the character of Gail Platt had over her 50 year spell on the Cobbles and we can’t wait to have audiences come and hear Helen share her story, all in support of Hope Mill Theatre. The cherry on the cake is having longterm Hope Mill supporter Julie Hesmondhalgh leading the evening. It really is an event not to be missed.”
