Her Spirit Sunset Swim Series: U Swim Dock 9, Salfords Quay

There’s no better way to enjoy the Great British Summer (come rain or shine!) than with a dip in the open water while taking in the awe inspiring beauty of a setting sun and Her Spirit is organising the perfect opportunity to do this.

And with female participation in outdoor swimming increasing from 65% to 73.5% in 12 months, women are really embracing it.

Her Spirit the free to download community fitness app, that offers its community of 25,000 women a mix of live digital classes and in-person challenges, has organised a brand new series of fun, friendly, inclusive swimming events hosted by open water venues across the UK. The Sunset Swim Series is open to all levels and any stroke goes. These events offer a great way to challenge yourself and to learn or progress open water swimming skills over the warmer and sunnier months. It is also a great way to meet new friends.

The Her Spirit Sunset Swim Series, in partnership with Swim England and Zoggs, features one event per month from May to September. Each swim costs £19.99 (+ £1.50 fee). There are 4 distances to choose from (500m, 1000m, 1500m, 2000m) and an official time will be given to each participant. Included in the cost is a Sunset Series swim cap and medal and 15% off Zoggs discount. Participants must be 18+ and able to swim 200m.
