The Hatters have announced the signing of attacking midfielder Micah Hamilton on loan from Championship side Middlesbrough.
The 21-year-old joins us until the end of the season and trained at Carrington for the first time on Thursday morning. He will wear the number 28 shirt during his time at Edgeley Park, and is available for selection for Saturday’s game against Crawley Town – with tickets for that game on sale online here.
Micah moved to Middlesbrough in the Summer from Manchester City, joining for an undisclosed fee and signing a four-year deal with Michael Carrick’s side.
The Manchester-born attacker had been with City since the age of nine, progressing through their U18 and U21 sides before making his debut for the first team in a Champions League Group Stage game away at Red Star Belgrade. It proved to be a night to remember for the youngster, who started the game and went on to open the scoring for City in the 19th minute.
Having made further appearances in the Champions League and Emirates FA Cup for Pep Guardiola’s team, the England Youth International spent pre-season on tour with the Premier League Champions in the USA, before completing a permanent move to Middlesbrough in August.
