This Halloween The Village Screen are heading back to one of their favourite old
haunts, the Peak Cavern cave for a series of fun and spooky horrors. They will also be transforming Manchester’s Victoria Bath’s into a scary hollow of ghosts and ghouls with a selection of spooky favourites and creepy goings-on.
Peak Cavern Cave
The Village Screen have been popping up in unique venues for over 4 years and are
well established at delivering fun, quirky and unforgettable events across Sheffield,
Manchester, the Peak District and Milton Keynes. This is their third year at the Peak
Cavern which audiences have described to date as a “truly amazing experience” with
the atmosphere being “phenomenal.”
On Friday 25th October The Village Screen will be transforming the Peak Cavern
cave into a poltergeist’s paradise as they screen the terrifying paranormal horror,
The Conjuring. Based on a true story, The Conjuring is a truly scary horror that will
have you jumping from your seats!
They’re here… Saturday 26th October will host the classic 1982 supernatural horror, Poltergeist. Steven Spielberg’s paranormal masterpiece, Poltergeist is a truly scary horror that is bound to leave you spooked! Finally, Proton packs at the ready! Prepare to be tackling ghosts and ghouls on Sunday 27th October for the screening of the 80’s classic hit, Ghostbusters!

On Thursday 31st October The Village Screen will be showing the Conjuring this time in the Edwardian setting. It’s showtime! …On Friday 1st November The Village Screen is showing one of the best Halloween films of the 80’s – Beetlejuice. Dress up in your greatest Halloween attire, bring blankets and watch a classic Halloween film in a spectacular location.
Audience members will be able to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy the big screen whilst
settled down with popcorn and sweets in old school, candy-striped deckchairs inside the
pool or attendees can take up the views from above on wooden balcony seating
overlooking the pool.
Ahead of each screening cinema-goers have the opportunity to boogie on down with our DJ
who will be providing the perfect Halloween soundtrack! There will also be delicious street
food on offer from some of the North’s best street food traders, as well as a fully stocked
bar offering craft ales, themed cocktails and fizz, as well as a selection of hot & soft drinks.
