Freight Island as it unveils its biggest ever Spring/Summer music programme for 2026.
Running from April to September, the Manchester venue will host a season of free residents parties, bringing together club legends, cult collectives and key names from across house, garage, soul and bass music.
The season opens with a major moment for the city as the legendary FAC51 The Haçienda takes over Freight Island for a free residents party, featuring Mike Pickering, DJ Paulette, Jon Dasilva and Chad Jackson.
Across the summer the programme continues with takeovers and appearances from some of the UK’s most respected selectors and underground parties. Luke Una brings his É Soul Cultura party to the venue, while Manchester favourites Ghosts of Garage and Hit & Run return alongside sets from artists including Todd Edwards, MJ Cole, Greg Wilson and Alix Perez.
The programme closes in September with the Manchester edition of Flash Ibiza, the party created by Guy Williams, bringing its eclectic Balearic sound to the city.
Alongside the music programme, Freight Island will also introduce new food concepts for the season, including BRASA, a Brazilian open-fire restaurant from SAMPA chef Caroline Martins, and Brewski bringing its Big Tray barbecue for the summer.
With its largest outdoor programme to date, legendary club brands and new chef-led dining, Freight Island’s Spring/Summer Series 2026 is set to be one of the city’s biggest summer cultural programmes
