Greater Manchester Police have announced this afternoon that a senior officer in the force has been suspended following allegations of misconduct
The officer has not be named
In a short statement Deputy Chief Constable Terry Woods, QPM:
“Following an allegation of misconduct, a senior officer has been suspended from duty and referred to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) for investigation into their standards of professional behaviour”.
