FAMILY friendly event will have young people bouncing for joy when it opens in Manchester this weekend (15-16 June).

JK Kidz World is landing at St Crowcroft Park, Longsight offering a whole host of giant inflatables, children’s rides, food and drink stalls and face painting.

The event – which is free to enter – will be open each day from 11am until 5.30pm and is the perfect solution for anyone wondering how to keep their two to ten-year-olds entertained.

Visitors can enjoy everything from the big red slide to the monkey slide, along with popular attractions such as trampolines, swing chairs and hook a duck.

The event will also feature a whole host of popular children’s fairground rides, with a number of fantastic food and drink options to make it into a total day out.

There will be a range of live entertainment on offer throughout the day, as well as a number of family-friendly activities.

The inflatables are suitable for all ages – with a number aimed at younger children alongside the mega inflatables which are suitable for youngsters with a sense of adventure.

While there is no cost to attend the event, there will be a token system in place for the inflatables and the rides.

Most off the attractions only cost one token, with a handful of the more specialised experiences costing two tokens. Tokens can also be used on the fairground rides or payment can be made in cash at £2.

Tokens can be bought on the day, with special discounts available to anyone who buys them in advance via the JK Events facebook page or Eventbrite.

Kris Longshaw of JK Kids World said there was something for everyone.

“We are dedicated to providing a family day out which is fun for everyone,” he said.

“Wherever we take the event it proves a massive hit and the fact that it is free to enter and the paid-for attractions are competitively priced, hopefully makes it easily affordable.

“We can’t wait for people to come along and experience it for themselves.”
