People who have been inspired by Wimbledon this summer and want to play tennis in Greater Manchester over the summer holidays will find it easier to get on court thanks to a new online booking tool, which is being piloted in the region by the LTA.
Launching this month, the new booking tool, Rally will allow people to search and book available courts near them. Greater Manchester has been chosen for the pilot due to the high demand for courts in the area with 37 local authorities involved in the scheme.
In Manchester, the LTA is working with MCRactive, the body set up by Manchester City Council to drive sport and physical activity across the city.
Rally will help support MCRactive’s strategy to get more people active by reducing barriers to taking part in sport and making it easier to find and book sports activities.
