A Stockport charity which helps women on low incomes get back to work are holding an annual fundraising dinner in the City Centre later this spring 

Smart Works who help women back into the workplace by giving them the clothes and confidence they need to succeed at interview,  are holding on Thursday 25th May, in conjunction with Aldermore Bank, their first “Smart Night Out” to celebrate and promote their work.

The event at Manchester MacDonald hotel will start at 7.30pm with complimentary welcome drinks, followed by a three course meal. 

 Throughout the evening, guests will have a chance to hear about the great work that Smart Works does as well as meet and mingle with many of the people who feel passionate about the charity. 

There will be chance to dance the night away as well as a raffle and silent auction to raise much needed funds to support the Smart Work’s Manchester Office. 

All proceeds from the event will go directly to Smart Works Greater Manchester.

The core of the service that Smart Works provides is a two-hour appointment, during which time each woman receives a complete outfit of high quality clothes (theirs to keep) and dedicated one-to-one interview training. 

The support leads over one in two of client they are able to contact go on to get the job.
