The former Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has been banned from football for four years for doping after a drugs test found elevated levels of testosterone in his system.
Pogba was randomly tested after Juventus’ first match of the season on 20 August.
The 30 year old midfielder is not allowed to play professional football until 2028.
“I have been informed of the Tribunale Nazionale Antidoping’s decision and believe that verdict is incorrect.” said Pogba in a statement
I am sad, shocked, and heartbroken that everything I have built in my professional playing career has been taken away from me.
