Firefighters have been battling a blaze at industrial units in Delph overnight.
The fire broke out around 3.15 at the mill building on Delph New Road.
The fire which is now under control affected most of this building’s roof
Police have evacuated some nearby residents as a precaution.
With smoke in the air, fire fighters are encouraging all those living or travelling locally to keep doors and windows of vehicles and houses closed.
Delph New Road is closed to traffic
