International film star Jason Momoa came to Manchester at the weekend to officially launch Meili Vodka, the premium vodka brand he co-founded, marking a major UK milestone through a long-term partnership with leading hospitality group Permanently Unique.
Taking in the Manchester United game at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon he then arrived at Spinningfield’s bar Tattu to take part in a demonstration of cocktail making
Speaking about the launch, Jason Momoa, co-founder of Meili Vodka, said:
“Meili is about quality, sustainability, and sharing a drink with good people in great places. Manchester has an incredible energy, and launching the brand here felt natural. Partnering with Permanently Unique made complete sense — their venues and vision really align with what Meili stands for.”
The Manchester launch follows a meeting between Momoa and Permanently Unique in Dubai and establishes Meili Vodka as a permanent brand partner across Permanently Unique’s Manchester venues, including Fenix, Louis and Tattu Manchester.
Drew Jones, of Permanently Unique, said:
“We met Jason in Dubai and immediately knew there was a strong fit. Permanently Unique is about creating standout venues and unforgettable experiences, and Meili Vodka matches that ethos perfectly. We’re proud to be launching the brand in Manchester and making it a permanent fixture across our venues.”
Later in the evening, Momoa attended Louis, adding further buzz to his Manchester appearance performing with his band ÖOF TATATÁ
Meili Vodka is distilled using a blend of corn and mountain spring water, with a strong focus on sustainability, craftsmanship, and adventure-led storytelling.
The Manchester launch represents a key step in the brand’s continued UK expansion.
